A Facebook scammer attempting to impersonate me has been joining author groups and trying to solicit people into paying for book promo/marketing guru services. This has been reported to FB, but FB says they “aren’t impersonating me” (despite using both my pen name and legal name, author photo, and book cover art) and that nothing about it goes against their community standards. ????

For the record, I have never and will never shill for any book promo service! Please be wary if you see “me” or any other author (especially in the indie author space) pushing this kind of service. When in doubt, contact the author through the email listed on their website to confirm whether it’s really them or not.
